Frank Scavone oversees all aspects of platform operations including investment and asset management, portfolio construction, investor relations and marketing, cash management, treasury, performance reporting and risk management. Mr. Scavone is responsible for setting operating protocols, team compensation, and governance structures, and chairing the Investment and Valuation Committees.

Prior to founding TCM, Mr. Scavone served first as COO and then as the President and COO of CBRE Capital Partners from 2008–2014, the debt platform of CBRE’s investment management arm, CBRE Global Investors. Under Mr. Scavone’s leadership, the CBRE Capital Partners platform consisted of both open- and closed-ended fund vehicles with aggregate capital commitments totaling over $900M. These funds were generally geared towards either lower risk profile mezzanine investments and/or special situations risk profile investments.

At CBRE, Mr. Scavone oversaw an investor base which included pension funds, insurance companies, funds of funds and sovereign wealth funds and served on the CBRE Global Investors Americas Operating Board and the Global Leadership Team. Mr. Scavone later served through September 2014 as a Senior Advisor to CBRE in connection with the disposition of all but one asset in the Capital Partners portfolios, which included Freddie Mac K Series, CMBS B-pieces, newly originated and acquired distressed debt positions.

Mr. Scavone holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BS from Adelphi University.
